October
Urinetown The Musical - Thursday, October 20th
$50/Residents, $60/Non-residents
Bus leaves at 4 pm, returns at 10 pm.

A surprise winner of three Tony Awards, this hilarious musical written by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis is a satire of the legal system and a love letter to musical theatre itself! Urinetown provides a fresh perspective of one of America’s greatest art forms. In a Gotham -ike city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he’s had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom…hilariously funny!
