Broward County issued Emergency Order 20-08 today, allowing for the reopening of parks, golf courses, pools and recreational facilities in multi-family developments, boat ramps and marinas.
This order, which supports the physical and mental health of the community, goes into effect tomorrow, Wednesday, April 29. There are very specific limitations and guidelines in the order for each type of venue, and cities can establish more stringent restrictions within their jurisdictions. Tamarac City parks will reopen for passive use such as walking, jogging and bike riding tomorrow, from 8 am – 6 pm. Park restrooms will be closed. In addition, the golf course at Colony West will open with the first tee time at 7 am.
