As part of our social distancing efforts to stop the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the City will conduct its next City Commission meeting virtually. The meeting will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday, April 22, and will follow Governor Ron DeSantis’ Executive Order 20-69 regarding conducting local government public meetings while under the COVID-19 public health emergency.
The public may watch the virtual meeting on the City’s website, www.Tamarac.org/CityCommissionMeetings
or on Facebook Live, and can submit public comments in the following ways:
- Email comments to CityClerk@Tamarac.org. Those that take three minutes or less to read orally will be read into the public record. All comments submitted by email shall be made part of the public record.
- Submit comments online during the meeting through Facebook Live.
- Comment via telephone by registering online at www.Tamarac.org/SignUp. Individuals who register will be contacted by telephone at the appropriate time during the meeting to offer their public comments.

The City has canceled its Household Hazardous Waste and electronic waste drop off event scheduled for May 2.
The Small Business Administration is unable to accept new applications for its Payroll Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan Emergency Advance, based on available funding. In addition, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity is currently not accepting applications for its Emergency Bridge Loan Program.
