Tamarac Emergency Order Supplements Broward County Order
With the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases surging in South Florida, everyone must stay home to stop community spread. Broward County issued Emergency Order 20-03 directing a safer at home policy this week. Tamarac joined other Broward cities in issuing a Safer at Home Emergency Order supplementing the County’s order.
Tamarac’s order, which goes into effect at 12:01 am on Saturday, March 28, 2020, includes a requirement to remain at home. Exceptions are made to allow residents to visit essential businesses, seek emergency assistance, care for family members and more.
Tamarac’s order is available at https://www.tamarac.org/DocumentCenter/View/8190/Emergency-Order-2020-01-Safer-At-Home-Order.
