Stop the Spread and Stay Home
Broward County issued Emergency Order 20 – 03
, implementing a safer at home policy that strongly urges individuals to stay home except when engaging in essential activities or exercising outdoors following CDC social distancing guidelines. The order updates the list of essential businesses and clarifies certain provisions. Residents and business owners/operators should read the full emergency order for details and consult with their attorney for further clarification if needed. All businesses that continue to operate throughout the COVID-19 crisis must operate in full compliance with CDC social distancing guidelines. The order also defines “essential employees.” For complete information, read the order at https://www.broward.org/CoronaVirus/Documents/BC-EmergencyOrder20-03.pdf
This initiative by the County confirms the seriousness of the pandemic and how paramount it is for everyone to stay home to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
