[ARCHIVED] Precautionary Boil Water Notice - For the City of Tamarac, West of SR 7/US 441

For businesses and residents of the City of Tamarac, West of SR 7/U.S. 441

During testing on June 28, 2013, E-coli bacteria was found in one, untreated well water sample. As a precaution, we advise that all water used for cooking or drinking be boiled. A rolling boil of 1-3 minutes is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until testing verifies that the water is safe to drink; usually 48 hours.

If you have any questions, contact the City of Tamarac Utilities Department at (954) 597-3775.
