[ARCHIVED] Household Hazardous Waste Collection – May 5

The City of Tamarac, in cooperation with Broward County Waste and Recycling Services, is hosting the annual Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Collection event on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 8 am- 3 pm, at the Public Services Complex. This is open to all Broward County residents and has proven to be a very successful method of capturing hazardous waste. Over the past five years, this event has diverted more than 100 tons of potentially hazardous waste and recyclables from the solid waste stream!

Bring any household hazardous waste (motor oil, paint, pesticides, lawn & pool chemicals, propane tanks, batteries fluorescent bulbs & tubes, etc.) and electronics (TVs, computers, monitors, printers, etc.) to the Public Services Complex at 6011 Nob Hill Road.
