The Neighborhood Partnership Program enrollment is now open for grants to support neighborhood improvements through the City’s Neighborhood Partnership Program! Enrollment closes on August 26 at 4 p.m.
ELIGIBLE NEIGHBORHOOD OPPORTUNITY INCLUDE:
- Upgrade neighborhood signage, subdivision signs
- Median landscaping, neighborhood landscaping, low water use landscape projects, and hedge replacement projects
- Remove nuisance species, and street tree plantings in rights-of-way
- Enhanced lighting
- Small outdoor fitness structures and exercise stations
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA INCLUDE:
- Property must be located within the City of Tamarac
- Applicant must be an active neighborhood association/organization or homeowners’ association and registered with the City of Tamarac
- The association must have officers (a president, treasurer, and secretary) and must show minutes of the meeting at which these officers were elected
- Neighborhood association must be a Florida not-for-profit corporation in good standing in order to be considered for City funding under the Neighborhood Partnership Program
- Must have no current code violations
