Tamarac Residents Encouraged to Participate in East Side Parks Feasibility Study

Tamarac Residents Encouraged to Participate in East Side Parks Feasibility Study

Tamarac, Fla. (January 6, 2021): The City of Tamarac’s East Side Parks Feasibility Study will help the City determine how to improve its parks and recreational programming in east Tamarac to best meet the community’s needs.

The study incorporates two resident surveys, including one mailed to a random sampling of 6,000 Tamarac households that should be received the week of January 4, 2021. These responses will provide statistically valid results.

In addition, ALL Tamarac residents are invited to provide feedback and input through an open-link survey that will go live at http://TamaracEastSideParkStudy.com/ no later than January 18, 2021.

While open-link results will be kept separate from the statistically valid survey responses, they will none-the-less provide valuable feedback for the City and be included in the study’s final analysis.

Both surveys include questions about what types of improvements residents want to the east side parks and recreation system and where priorities should be placed. Specifically, the study addresses the area east of NW 64th Avenue.

Miller Legg is leading this project in partnership with GreenPlay LLC, Whitehouse Group, and RRC Associates. The survey is being administered and evaluated by RRC Associates.
