[ARCHIVED] Commissioner Placko Launches Scholarship Program

Debra Placko, the City of Tamarac’s District 4 Commissioner, created a new scholarship program named in honor of the late Diane Glasser, a former Tamarac City Commissioner who also served Broward County and built a reputation as an exemplary community leader and public servant during her three decade career.  

Through the Diane Glasser Memorial Scholarship Program, Placko is offering two $2,500 scholarships to students residing in the City of Tamarac’s District 4. Recipients can use scholarships for educational expenses at a college, university or vocational school.

Applications and supporting documents must be received by 5 p.m. on May 1, 2021. Additional information is available at www.Tamarac.org/Scholarship
