[ARCHIVED] New Guidelines for Landscape Irrigation

Irrigation Sprinkler with plants

The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) issued a new order on water conservation measures due to drier than average conditions. This includes watering lawns only two days per week and applying no more than ¾ to 1 inch of water per week. For full information on the new guidelines, click the link below.

The District reminds residents that hand washing uses very little water. Residents are encouraged to continue frequent hand washing to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) according to CDC guidelines. The order does not in any way restrict residents from following those CDC guidelines.
