The water distribution system serving east Tamarac (east of State Road 7/U.S. 441) will temporarily return to free chlorination of the drinking water from 9 am on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, through 9 am on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. This only affects areas east of State Road 7/U.S. 441.
This preventive procedure is a routine part of water distribution system maintenance. These temporary conditions will not cause adverse health effects, but during this period, some individuals may notice a slight change in the taste or smell of their tap water.
