Tamarac's Veterans Day observance begins at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 7825 Southgate Boulevard. The Taravella High School band will perform, Lt. Colonel Anthony Ricci (Commander of the Air Force Reserve ROTC at the University of Miami) will be among the speakers and tribute will be paid to the late Bill Kling - a staunch advocate for veterans - with a commemorative plaque in the park.
