The City of Tamarac is presently seeking City of Tamarac residents from District 1 and District 2 to serve on the Parks & Recreation Board:
Parks & Recreation BoardApplications are being accepted for vacancies on the Parks & Recreation Board from residents from District 1 and District 2. Meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Administration Building, 6001 Nob Hill Road. The Board is comprised of five (5) members and makes recommendations concerning recreational needs for the entire City, as well as recommendations about existing and proposed Parks and Recreation Programs.
Please note that if you recently submitted applications for the Parks & Recreation Board you need not re-apply. We have your application on file for consideration by the Commission.
City of Tamarac advisory board and committee members serve without compensation. If you are a resident in District 1 and District 2 and are interested in serving on the Parks & Recreation Board, please apply by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019. Application forms are available by visiting www.tamarac.org or by calling the City Clerk’s Office at (954) 597-3505.
