[ARCHIVED] Boil Water Advisory

Boil Water Advistory for Website

A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents living within the following boundaries:

-    Commercial Boulevard to the south

-    NW 55th Street to the north

-    West of NW 21st Terrace and

-    East of 28-28 NW 52nd Court

This area is serviced by the City of Fort Lauderdale. A loss of water pressure was experienced when they inadvertently closed the master meter valve.

As a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected, and a bacteriological survey confirms that the water is safe to drink.

If you have any questions, please contact the City of Tamarac Water Treatment Plant at (954) 597-3775.
