Parks & Recreation Board


Applications are being accepted for one vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Board from residents in District 1. Meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Administration Building, 6001 Nob Hill Road. The Board is comprised of five (5) members and makes recommendations concerning recreational needs for the entire City, as well as recommendations about existing and proposed parks and recreation programs.    

City of Tamarac advisory board and committee members serve without compensation. If you are interested in serving on the Parks & Recreation Board and reside in District 1, please apply by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018. Application forms are available by visiting www.tamarac.org or by calling the City Clerk’s Office at (954) 597-3505. Completed application forms should be forwarded to: Patricia Teufel, CMC, City Clerk’s Office, City of Tamarac, 7525 NW 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida 33321, or via email to Pat.Teufel@tamarac.org or the application can be faxed to 954-597-3508. It is anticipated that the Tamarac City Commission will make appointments to the Parks & Recreation Board at their regular meeting on April 25, 2018.
