[ARCHIVED] Debris Collection Update

Tamarac has made good progress on our hurricane debris collection efforts. We’ve completed a first pass throughout the City, and we’ve begun to pick up vegetative debris from private communities.

A second round of collection will start next week, and residents are urged to get all vegetative debris to a public right of way by Monday, Oct. 16.   Please continue to follow the guidelines previously provided: separate vegetative and non-vegetative material, and do not use black bags for vegetative debris. If you hire a service to take care of a downed tree, have them leave the debris at the curb. If it’s out in time, the City will pick it up for you.

Hurricane debris collection will end on Sunday, Oct. 22 and the normal bulk pickup schedule will resume on Monday, Oct. 23.

We thank you again for your patience and cooperation through this process.
