[ARCHIVED] Hurricane Irma Update 6

Broward County has issued a 4 p.m. curfew as the effects of Hurricane Irma make their way to South Florida. It’s in effect until 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 11th. During the curfew, all pedestrian and vehicular traffic are prohibited except in the case of emergency services.

The National Weather Service warns of high winds, potential flooding and the possibility of tornadoes through early Monday.

Please be sure all patio furniture, yard waste or other debris has been moved indoors as intermittent strong wind gusts are expected.

Once the storm has passed, please remain off the streets to allow roads to be cleared and emergency vehicles to respond.
