[ARCHIVED] Runway Work May Cause Temporary Changes to Air Traffic

Maintenance work at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport will cause the temporary closure of a runway that is expected to last from 10 pm on Friday, Dec. 9 to 6 am on Monday, Dec.12. This may cause a temporary increase in air traffic over neighborhoods to the southeast and northwest of the airport.

Residents can report excessively loud aircraft online at www.flyfxe.com/noise-abatement/aircraft-noise-reporting or by calling the 24-hour Aircraft Noise Reporting Line at (954) 828-6666.  Please contact Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport at (954) 828-4955 with any questions.
