NW 70th Avenue Traffic Calming Project. Broward County Mobility Advancement Project TAMA-003. Solicitation 20-13B
Construction/installation of eight (8) new traffic calming parabolic speed hump systems. This includes, but is not limited to, all asphalt removal and disposal, new asphaltic concrete construction of the parabolic speed humps, the installation of all applicable pavement markings and signage, and the removal and relocation of any existing signage required to facilitate the speed hump systems, in accordance with the design plan, details and technical specifications. This project also consists of two (2) roundabouts and associated median improvements with RA curb, D curb, F curb and header curb with brick pavers, turf blocks and landscaping improvements. Roundabout medians consist of irrigation and landscaping with electrical conduit stub-outs for future power. Roundabouts consist of, but are not limited to, signage and striping, sidewalk improvements, ADA ramps with truncated domes and concrete flumes in front of catch basins, in accordance with the design plan, details and technical specifications. Status: Pending in review by Broward County.
Citywide Culvert Headwall Improvement Project Phase VI. Solicitation 21-02B.
Phase VI of the replacement program for culvert headwall improvement at various street and road crossings of canals. Status: Currently available at www.tamarac.org/bids. Bid opening scheduled for September 21, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Tamarac Lakes Sections 1 & 2 Water Main Improvements. Solicitation 21-17B.
Construction of Tamarac Lakes Sections 1 and 2 Water Main Improvements. The project is located north of W. Prospect Road between NW 21st Ave and NW 15th Avenue. Status: The solicitation is being drafted. The anticipated issuance date is in mid-to-late September 2021.
Mainlands of Tamarac Sections 1-5 Pavement Replacement Project. Broward County Mobility Advancement Maintenance Project #BC-TAM-FY2020-00001. Solicitation 21-18B.
Seeking surveying or engineering firms with experience in all phases of professional surveying as described in Florida Statutes, Chapter 472 entitled "Land Surveying and Mapping" and with surveyors licensed in the State of Florida on their staff to provide miscellaneous surveying and mapping services. Such services may include boundary surveys, plat surveys, easement surveys, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and preparation of legal descriptions and sketches. Status: The solicitation is being drafted. It requires review by Broward County prior to issuance. The anticipated issuance is late September 2021.

Request for Qualifications for Continuing Services Agreements to provide professional architectural and engineering services for various projects TBD, pursuant to F.S. 287.055, Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA). Status: The current contract, 16-23Q, expires on 9/30/21, but will be extended on a month to month basis. A solicitation is being drafted. It requires review by Broward County prior to issuance. The issuance is anticipated for late September 2021.
Multi-Modal Transportation Master Connectivity Plan. Broward County Mobility Advancement Project #TAMA-001. Solicitation 21-07R.
The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide the City with a Multi-Modal Transportation Connectivity Master Plan. Status: A solicitation is being reviewed by Broward County. It is anticipated to be issued in late September of 2021.
Fire Station No. 15 Pre-Emption Emergency Vehicle Signal System Project. Broward County Mobility Enhancement Project #TAMA-014. Solicitation 21-19B.
The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting Bids, from Qualified Contractors, for the construction of the City of Tamarac, Fire Station No. 15 Pre-Emption Emergency Vehicle Signal System Project. The project consists of constructing a complete Pre-Emption Emergency Vehicle Signal System for the City of Tamarac’s Fire Station No. 15, located at 6000 Hiatus Road, Tamarac, Florida, 33321. The work shall include, but not limited to, verification of existing utilities and drainage facilities, clearing and grubbing, concrete removal, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalk and driveway restoration, the construction of substructures that will support mast arms, complete mast arm and signal systems, installation of new pavement markings and signage, trenching, directional boring, electrical conduit and component installation - both to the interior and exterior of the fire station, earthwork, landscaping and sod restoration. The Contractor must perform these services in the City of Tamarac, Florida in accordance with applicable, Federal, State and local regulations and in accordance with the project design plans, as prepared by McMahon Associates, Inc. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, engineering and obtaining all applicable permits, licenses, insurance, and supervision necessary to complete the project as specified herein. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details, technical specifications / scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements. Status: A solicitation is being drafted. It requires review by Broward County prior to issuance. It is anticipated to be issued in early October of 2021.
Nob Hill Culvert Gate.
Project will entail installation of a gate at culvert just west of Nob Hill Road at canal 2B to control water elevation in city canal system.
Nob Hill & Hiatus Road Roundabout.
Project will be initiated to mitigate current traffic conditions at this intersection.
Woodland Greens Water Main Re-Location.
Project will require moving existing watermain to new location.
