The Diane Glasser Memorial Scholarship

Commissioner Debra Placko of District 4 has established the Diane Glasser Memorial Scholarship program to honor the dedication, hard work and legacy of Diane Glasser, a former colleague and Tamarac Commissioner.

Ms. Glasser was an exemplary community and public servant in Broward County and the City of Tamarac for over three decades.

This memorial scholarship program will recognize the academic and civic success of students who are servant leaders.

For 2021, the program offers two individual $2,500 scholarships to students currently residing in the City of Tamarac. These scholarships can be used for expenses associated with academic endeavors at a college, university or vocational school.
