In accordance with the Governor's Declaration of Emergency 20-52, and the City of Tamarac's Emergency Ordinance 2020-20, the City continues to host public meetings virtually.  

The Special Magistrate Hearings are held in person, as well as streamed live for the public. If you plan to attend a meeting in-person, please be aware seating is limited in accordance with CDC guidelines, and all attendees are required to wear a mask.

Public Comments

City Commission Meetings: Any member of the public wishing to comment publicly on any matter, including on items on the agenda, may submit their comments by email to All comments submitted by email, that if read orally, are three minutes or less shall be read into the record. All comments submitted by email shall be made part of the public record. 

Public comments may also be submitted online, during the meeting, through Facebook Live. 

Members of the public may also register above, to sign-up to speak (remotely) during the designated public participation portion of each meeting. Individuals who register will be contacted by telephone at the appropriate time during the meeting to offer their public comments.
